Mark Atchity founded the company on the principles of transparency, discipline and teamwork. He has assembled a team with broad experience. Offerings have included real estate, energy, biotech, agriculture, manufacturing, and distribution. His team has assisted companies with equity, debt and mezzanine financing from all sources, including traditional lenders, private equity, the RIA & family office community, the independent broker dealer network, and in certain instances, even crowdfunding.
Mark has a strong background of success in both the independent broker-dealer channel and as a sponsor of alternative investments. With past experience working on both sides of the investment marketplace, he has unique insights into the intricacies of alternative investments and the needs of all parties involved.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Finance from Boston College Carrroll School of Management. He holds FINRA 7, 24, 27, 55, 63 and 79 licenses.

Carter Freeman founded Janas in the belief that middle market private and smaller public companies deserve the same level of sophisticated advice as their larger competitors. He was drawn to these companies because they are innovators who have found new approaches to their markets that allow them to successfully compete against much larger companies. These clients are the backbone of the US economy who generate most of the new jobs and many of the most successful new products. But they are also companies that are often given meager support by lenders and investors in times like these. Frequently they must make do with advisors inexperienced in the world of finance and acquisitions.
Since founding Janas, Carter has recruited consultants and investment bankers from the top ranks of industry and finance who have survived and prospered through recessions and credit crunches. Coming out of a consulting and transactional background himself, Carter believes that the combination of sound business advice and experienced deal making creates uncommonly successful outcomes for clients.
Dick Gregerson

Dick Gregerson is the President of Janas Associates and Janas Consulting, Inc. Dick brings a track record of strategic and financial development of mid-sized companies through acquisition and internal growth. His 30 years of experience has included finance and accounting as a CFO, investment banking, and consulting.
During his decade long career at Janas, he has directed a substantial number of Merger and Acquisition assignments. He has led transactions in medical manufacturing, petroleum distribution, specialty products manufacturing, auto parts manufacturing and distribution, electronic card manufacturers, and others.
Dick holds a Bachelors Degree from Yale University and an MBA degree from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Wm. Brian Candler

Brian Candler is SVP, Business Development and a Registered Principal for JCC Capital Markets. In his role, he is often the first point of contact for new sponsors looking for a managing broker-dealer relationship. Brian has been in the securities industry since 1996, gaining comprehensive experience both as a managing broker-dealer for sponsors and on the independent broker-dealer side with extensive background as an OSJ and within firm operations, management and supervision. He began his career assisting in the orchestration of large equity, institutional fixed income and derivative transactions. Mr. Candler moved on to supervisory responsibilities including leading the operations of multiple branch offices and firms. This experience makes him uniquely qualified to understanding both the needs of potential product sponsors and the independent broker dealer channel on which we focus.
Brian graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Spanish. He holds FINRA 4, 7, 24, 27, 63, 79 and 99 licenses.
Jan Ryan, CFA

Jan Ryan is the Senior Vice President, Product Development for JCC Capital Markets. She has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry with expertise in due diligence, product development, sales, national accounts, financial analysis and marketing.
At JCC Capital Markets, Jan works closely with product sponsors to create and launch superior investment products with transparency and investor safeguards in mind. With her unique combination of analytical skills and marketing expertise, she is able to help craft products that meet both the objectives of the sponsor and the investment needs of financial advisors and their clients.
Jan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in corporate and investment finance and earned her designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst in 2003. She holds FINRA 7, 24, 53, 63 and 66 licenses.
